SHEET METAL ICI BARGAINING UPDATE
NEW AMNDTENTATIVE AGREEMENT REACHED

Mississauga, ON – The Ontario Conference and your Sheet Metal ICI Negotiation Committee are pleased to announce that we have reached a revised and improved Tentative Agreement to renew the Sheet Metal ICI Collective Agreement. This deal was reached today, Saturday June 4, 2022, after meeting with the Ontario Sheet Metal Contractors’ Association. The Contractors’ Association was aware that we would be in a legal strike position on Monday June 20, 2022. To their credit the Contractors’ Association recognized the seriousness of the situation and the membership’s commitment to getting a fair deal.
The Ontario Conference and Local Unions 30,47, 235, 269, 397, 473, 504 and 537 together strongly recommend that all members vote in support of the improved Tentative Agreement. Local Unions throughout Ontario will be holding ratification votes between June 5 and June 13, 2022.
The improved Tentative Agreement Monetary Package for 2022-2025 is as follows:
Province Wide for All ICI Local Unions
May 15, 2022 $3.00
April 30, 2023 $2.50
April 28, 2024 $2.65
Total: $8.15
In addition, there are Regional Allowance Increases for Local 30 in Toronto and Local 47 in Ottawa as follows:

Total Increase: $8.80 plus increases to Travel and Board
Local 30 Toronto, Barrie and Peterborough Regional Allowance:
