The Ontario government has just announced that they will begin targeted provincewide inspections of construction sites this Friday, dispatching 200 workplace inspectors, supported by provincial offenses offers, to visit 1,300 construction sites to enforce safety requirements. The inspection campaign will focus on enforcing the COVID-19 safety requirements and identifying those who are not following the rules. Violations may result in fines of up to $750 for individuals and $1,000 for businesses. See News Release
