Further to the e-mail we sent out back on March 24, 2021, where we shared that construction was part of the Phase 2 vaccine rollout, we wanted to ensure everyone was aware of the new amended vaccine timetables. Attached here, once again, is the document which states on page 20 that we are part of the Second Group of Essential Workers Who Cannot Work from Home: “Workers in manufacturing industries directly involved in supporting the COVID – 19 response, construction including infrastructure, and other essential businesses and services where facilities are at heightened risk for COVID – 19 outbreaks and spread.” According to the link and chart, below, our members should be eligible to receive their vaccines starting May 10th.
Construction workers eligible to book under Group 2, people who cannot work from home week of May 10th (who aren’t already eligible based on age of 50+ in weeks prior).
