Special Called Meeting
Re: Local 30 Elections
Please be advised that there will be a Special Called Meeting to be held on:
DATE: Thursday, April 8, 2021
TIME: 7:00 p.m.
PLACE: Zoom Video Conferencing
The sole purposes of this Special Called Meeting are to consider and vote on the following:
- Whether to give the Election Judge and Tellers the authority to order a mail ballot election if safety considerations compel them to conclude it is in the interest of the membership; and
- If the authority to order a mail ballot election is approved by the membership, whether approval will be given to a proposed By-Law to govern the conduct of mail ballot elections.
Members should note that the General President must also approve of the use of a mail ballot election per Article 12, Section 6 of the Constitution.
